i think that they will go 2 blu ray just for the fact they could lose 2 disc special editions and put them on one hopefully they include a browser of some sorts

either way, i'm with livewire. i'm REALLY getting low on the mem.
3.5 or so last time i checked.
i remember my roommate's awesome xbox. i don't remember how much memory it had, but we piled a shit load of music and all kinds of stuff on that system and the memory NEVER went down!

But it would crush any argument PS3 users have (even though they don't have one now besides HOME, which Ive used and it was boring)

I remember reading somewhere a while back that a new xbox may be release around 2010-2012 or around then,
They would be morons to leave out achievements in the new console, which i don't think they are. Also i hope they work backwards compatibility better then they did this time, because it blows on the 360-original, and of course more durability (red rings, which seems to be good on the elite, mine hasn't broke yet. unfortunately i went through 2 xboxs before my elite)
Maybe more inclusions of avatars (Competition crusher again) and anything else is a bonus

Yeah i hate when people say that. There is a computer 19 and 1/4 inches away from my xbox.....i dont need a web browser. I dont think ive ever used my PS3's web browser.

From what I've read and been told by people that have been at game shows, the next Xbox should come around the holidays in 2010 or 2011. That's not that far away. MS is going to have to do something sooner rather than later. The PS3 has far superior hardware and capabilities that aren't being touched yet. Once devs start using the PS3 to its full potential MS is gonna be screwed if they don't have something that's equal or better.
EDIT: About achievements... if they were to get rid of them, they would have to require a separate LIVE account for the new system, since gamerscore would be associated with our 360 gamertags. There's no way in hell they'd leave achievements out. They're being used more and more as selling points for garbage DLC lately.
