I always used to go after dinner when I was little,until at least 9-10pm. Last year I took my 2 kids at maybe 7pm b.c that's when it gets dark here,until about 9 b.c they are still little,so they get tired easily. And I agree,nightime is better,but it does drop down to 30 here in October,so too cold after awhile
