thats how all good games start. you play through once, just for fun..then you start to notice the "bloop. achievement unlocked!" come up more and more..so you look at the achievements. you check a site. then you end up playing the game for fun and achievements, but deep down you know youre trying to get the achievements so you can be satisfied that you have 1Ked/completed that game fully..then you try to go back and play for fun but sometimes it just isnt the same..

I think a game stops being fun when you have to do specific things, I mean collecting all items or beating on the hardest level isn't bad, but when you force yourself to do something in a game it ruins it, I believe the only game I have 1000 score on is halo3, and I didn't purposely get a single one of those, I just played normally and even had fun, but hunting for agility orbs after beating the game 3 times is just stupid

I agree! Viking would've been a great game, had I not had to do the skullbagger achievements. That is my fault for playing for achievements!
I'd rather see achievements for playing the game in a different way, and completing the game, rather than run throught the game in 2hrs. then go back for 25hrs. to pick up the garbage that is laying aroound in the streets!! Lazy achievements that don't add to the gameplay are just sad and frustrating!!
