the only lunar game i played was silver star story, but i loved it.
legend of the seven stars? loved it.
to be honest... i think the only RPG i ever disliked prior to the PS2 and xbox was FF8.
such a letdown after 7. hell, even 9 was somewhat enjoyable. 8 just sucked.

looking back, i never played a FF for the nes (that's where it started, right?) but i played the gameboy ones and i played FF mystic quest. around that time it was a straight up fantasy universe. i played very little of 5, so i could be wrong, but 6 (or III lol) is where FF started crossing into the technology universe. i didn't mind at all. 6 was brilliant, and 7 took the series in EXACTLY the right direction in my opinion. then comes 8... lol

I didn't care for x-2 although I did like the completion of the story... I think THAT GAME shows why they never make sequels to FF games, lol.

but i still prefer 8 over it.
i lost both of them though. let my friends borrow em and never saw them again. good thing 7 is on psn and 8 is selling for like 20.
