it wasn't meant to be mean, just trying to help him if he is indeed using a translator, so that he knows in future how to post his thoughts in a way that will be better received. That is all. you can only learn if others are willing to teach and by experience.
Well then fellas, I apologize if my posts appears to be "Translated". I will get to correcting minor grammatical errors. As for the vocabulary, I use the same style of writing in all of my "personal work" such as this blog. My English teacher demands a quality use of my English vocabulary and I use "million dollar words" in my poems as well (they are phenomenal by the way if you would like for me to post some here), my writing/typing has been a "bad" habit when it comes to just explaining in simple context. I sincerely do apologize for this misunderstanding. Or perhaps I can just leave the forums due to some of the attitude that I've seen in some responses....
B.T.W, I speak English.

Oh, well that explains it then no need to leave. Maybe just leave your home work at the door. I promise not to tell your English teacher about ....well you know just being a dude. In fact you my not know this but there are a lot of teachers that game and talk all kinds of trash online. There are two on my friends list, but don't worry I don't think their from your school so your safe here!!!

I have been writing since I was 9. I've been told I use words people my age probably don't know the meaning of. Yet I somehow manage to use 'common man' vocabulary...I think you can too. You don't want to make your audience feel dumb or thumb through a thesaurus/dictionary to figure out what you are trying to say.
All we're saying is, leave your fancy vocab at the door. We want everyone to know what we're saying. I have, just the day before yesterday, experienced the same reception to how I worded things. It made sense in my head, but not theirs. Get what I'm saying chief?
BTW, modesty isn't something you practice...is it? LOL. Course I am my own worst critic when it comes to my writing...

Nope, gloves are off... Don't make your first post here an over-glamorized assessment of your distaste for a feature of our beloved system that you cannot or will not change.
On another note, welcome to XBA! I must have missed you introduction thread!

Just one last comment:
"It is not merely up to the reader to figure out what the writer is trying to say, but it is the writer's job to make sure he is understood by his audience."
I saw that quote somewhere, or something similar. I feel it fits the situation.
I think we all learned a little lesson.
