This is an Emotionally Loaded thread....prolly the most loaded I've seen on a game Forum.
I don't fall into any of the categories here so I'll just say Good luck to those of you goin through it and to those of you lookin to avoid goin through it again.
And for those of you going through it, as hard as it may be keep the battle as much to yourselves, that tend to make arguments less bitter and reduces external Involvement.
-Sensation Out-

ive realized gaming has also helped me sort of get through it. but then again, i like, hardly ever show my emotions (usually a pretty neutral guy, emotions only show around close friends and family. w/ friends things like happy and laughter, and all sorts of them around family) and gaming just like....lets me throw any frustration i have at someone. if im really pissed i just go on gow2 and own up on a buncha bots...figure out which executions i find the most violent and take it on them, then chain everyone on line muahahahaahahh

Lets see, my parents divorced when I was 13, I got divorced (after almost 5 years of marriage) at 23. Both were bad experiences (especially my divorce) and I used them both as learning experiences and I am a better person because of it.

My parents got divorced 3 weeks before my 16th birthday after they had been married for 20 years. Turns out my dad cheated on my mom. The day he decided to leave us he decided to borrow my sisters brand new car, get drunk, and wrecked into a tree trying to kill himself. He totaled the car and didn't even have a scratch on him. I took it pretty hard at first. But over time I got over it thanks to Heavy Metal music and violent video games. Plus my mother is a very easy person to talk to. My grandfather helped me out a lot as well.
I haven't seen my father in almost seven years now, ever since the divorce became final. He became violent and began to threaten my mother for dating other guys, even though he's the one who cheated on her and moved in with the woman he cheated on her with. So we moved and got all of our phone numbers changed and he has no idea where we are.
I've heard from some of my family members that he has since gotten married to the woman he left my mother for. I had seen the woman once whenever the divorce was going on and she is actually quite disgusting. My mother is 46 and my dad is 54. The woman he got married to is 59... a good 13 years older than my mother. As it turns out, this woman happens to have a lot of money, which is one of the things he complained about while married to my mom, not having enough money.
Wow..... its been a while since I talked about this. It feels good to vent.
