Bethesda Softworks confirmed recently that Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion will indeed take advantage of the extra 250 achievement points for the Xbox 360. In addition, a new technology will be added to bring the graphics of the game up to the level of the PS3, making the two version almost identicaly graphically.

The Shivering Isles expansion is due for a spring release via Xbox Live Marketplace.

The max any game can now have is 1,250 (an extra 250 over the base 1,000) for retail and 250 (50 over the base 200) for XBLA.

Oblivion is set to become a Platinum title very soon, which means used copies will fall through the floor price wise. I would expect to pay only $19.99 for a quality used copy going forward....

Z I think he was talking about 1600 as ms points for the marketplace. I think Shivering Isles is already out though? Maybe not? I'm not sure how much it is if it is really out.
