A doctor who cures cancer... important. Pay him a lot that year. Someone who does less GETS less.
Oooo maybe what they should do it when players are caught fighting or shooting themselves in the feet or using steriods... anything that makes them forfeit pay, instead of giving it back to the team, it should go to poor people. Like me. Poor people like me.

It doesn't bother me that much that sports players make such a huge amount for what they do. We are the stupid ones that buy their tickets and all their merchandise.
What does bother me though, is here in pittsburgh, the freakin public bus drivers making more money than nurses. They start at 60,000 a year. Plus they get benefits and can retire early with a great pension. And the cry babies were just recently threatening to go on strike. I work as a registered nurse for the biggest employer in pittsburgh, and when I retire I'll get $0.

yeah, the fact about how much our bus drivers make really pisses me off.
this country is really effed up any way you slice it, lol.

I only pay $1.65 for Premium. Reg is about $1.45 round here

I realize its cheaper in other places, but $2.07 is not high, especially when gas was well over $4.00 a gallon 4 months ago

Im repeating myself from an old post - but I was mad when premium went above a dollar a gallon more than 10 years ago. So for those prices its still high, but you are right, considering it was 4 a gallon we should be glad

What you don't realize is that we are paying for that. Yankees pass the cost on to MLB, MLB passing that on to Televison whether it be ESPN, Fox or other stations. Those stations pass it on to the cost of Cable or in my case Directv. I understand ballplayers are always going to be paid alot of money and that is okay. I am just saying there have to be common ground with the TV markets. They cant keep passing this on to us as the customer. We do have the choice not to go to the games or buy the gear but come on in this day and age who is going to not have cable or TV. Dont think they dont know that.

I don't have cable Only watch TV when the Buckeyes are on. I have no time for TV - video games take up too much time
