Ok I dont know if any already posted this but Im going to say this anyway...Why is Nascar still around when gas prices are insane....Im still paying around $2.07 (hooray NYS) so how is this acceptable....just so the rednecks (sorry if anyone heres a fan) have something to do while they drink their seventh beer of the day.....If you couldnt tell I get pissed about this...
a few Nascar fuel facts: the gas the nascar circuit uses is Sunoco. Sunoco is therefor a major sponsor for Nascar and they provide all of the fuel for free to the teams. the fuel that we use in our cars in trucks ranges from 87-94 unleaded octane, ( e85 is garbage, ethanol additive is garbage, it robs your engine of power that you paid for and it is terrible for small engines-breaks down in under 30 days), the fuel that nascar uses for their 880 horsepower engines is 110 octane leaded fuel, it costs about $3.00 a gallon at Sunoco's cost. that would probably be about $13.00 a gallon our cost from Sunoco. on a race weekend, teams will go through an average of 6000 gallons of it, you do the math.
I used to be a fan, but i'm not into it anymore. i love speed and anything with a lot of power and i could care less about fuel mileage. i drive an F-250 Supercrew/Superduty with a modded v-10 engine that gets about 7 mpg and i love it but am in the market for the diesel= more power!

LAS VEGAS (AP) There is no recession for the New York Yankees.
Flexing the economic muscle of their new billion-dollar ballpark and ignoring industrywide nervousness over big-money deals, the Yankees landed the top free-agent pitcher when they agreed Wednesday to the framework of a $161 million, seven-year contract with CC Sabathia.

Hmmmm, not a household name. AS in people that don't follow (in this case Baseball) has heard of him.
I go to Tiger Games and Comerica Park is freak'n sweet, but I would gouge out my eyes with a butter knife before I would watch that shit on TV!!! And I don't watch ESPN!!! And I could care less who the number 1 pitcher is so number 5 is whatever!!!
My friend Brandon, who is in my Fantasy football league tried to get me to do Fantasy Baseball and I just stared at him like he was from outer space!!!
Oh, and I haven't watched a world series game since......wow not sure....but I think Pete rose was playing!!!
Have I left any doubt that I Don't watch Baseball!!!
