Presently, I am old enough. The previous registration time to vote I was too young to apply to vote.

Here is somethig I thought about and now it all makes sense.
WHY I AM VOTING DEMOCRAT
I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better
job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody
is offended by it.
I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the
bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good
people.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if
it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt
away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of
millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be
allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give
the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the
Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER
get their agendas past the voters.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that open borders and government
give-a-ways to foreigners is a great way to grow a nation.
I'm voting Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and
I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers
and thieves.
I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry
whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a
gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of
gas at 15% isn't.
I'm voting Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my ass it's
unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

Read it and "weep" for those who are not informed...............
Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience
by Cheri Jacobus
Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.
From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.
In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.

if you want to get in depth about politics go to like fox news website and talk on there forums, i'm sure there are plenty of people who will argue with you, well I should say.. agree with you
EDIT
like House said, be proud of who you are voting for but this thread is just about if you are old enough to vote, not about YOUR political views
This is an XBOX website, we are here to talk about games, since the time for Election has occurred it was something people would talk about, but if you want to go in depth go chat on CNN or FOX or some other site that focuses on politics....

It did, and I got too busy reading through these last 3 or 4 pages that I forgot I was supposed to be writing an essay. Oh well, thanks for the laughs.
