Nope. Life's a bitch and then ya die.
Thats horrible advice for someone asking a serious question.
I'm serious as well. Am I supposed to come in and say that everything will get better? It might, but life's always gonna get back to being shitty before you die.

We all go through a bad patch of time but we can't control everything and we can't fix everything so it's not worth stressing over. Stay positive, make some realistic goals, and focus on the future.

Whenever I get to feeling shitty I just take a minute to put my problems in perspective and tend to realize that shit could be a lot worse. It's also nice to have friends and family for emotional support. I happen to live with my cousin who was born with cerebal paulsy and has spent his whole life in a wheelchair and yet he's one of the smartest, brightest and often upbeat persons I know. He likes to watch that Mystery Diagnosis show every now and then because it always seems to put his disabilities into perspective for him. He tells me "Damn! I thought I had problems".

you have a wife and son to care about.
and not to get too religious, but just keep 2 things in mind.
god has a plan for all of us, and this life is just a test.

Figure out what you really want, and use it as your anchor point for every action you do. Time will seem to slow down and the oppressive presence of obligations will seem even more fierce, but as you soldier through the mundane BS you will always be able to look at your anchor for guidance.
Realize how each day, each moment, is working towards that anchor. And it does't have to be anything big, it can be as small or spacey as you want--talk to your friends, don't spill your troubles on them but instead listen to what's going on in their world and it will reinvigorate your spirit.

I'm not sure if many of you guys knew this but I myself am just a teenage kid, 15 and becoming a sophomore in high school. As many of you might remember (or maybe you were luckier than I am), a few girls in particular would always make me feel like dirt when I was rejected by them, just to see them prance away with some football player who won't treat them right. Now, I'm not gonna pretend like this is anywhere on the spectrum next to what you're going through, but I know the feeling of just wanting to give up, but it's really not worth it in the end. Like a lot of people here have already said, you NEED to keep going! I forget who said it, but there's a saying that says, "This too, will come to pass," It might have been Yoda, but who knows. The point is, that all bad things will come to an end, maybe not in this or the next lifetime, but it WILL get better. Just remember that, Shock, and you will come through this.

No offense, I didn't mean anything by it. It's happened to me twice so, just saying.
