My 360 in my bedroom keeps RRoDing but I've successfully brought it back to life numerous times. The one I have in my living room has been going strong for just about a year. The thing that kinda pisses me off is the one I have in my bedroom has already been fixed once this year for the RRoD and this replacement keeps RRoDing about 3 times a week, and its louder than hell. The one in my living room is so damn quiet that you hardly hear it running. Microsoft tells me that the fan is running harder on the one because of their RRoD fix. Anybody else have loud fans after sending thiers to Microsoft?

I haven't sent in mine just yet, but my optical drive failed on mine, so eh, not too sure if I'll get a refurbished one or just the same one back with a new drive. I've had mine since about a year after launch...so it ran well for quite a while, not really mad, but if the next repair gives me a RRoD or another drive failure... someone's not going to be a happy camper.

The towel fix does work usually, but is only a temporary fix
Penny fix however is working just fine for me ^.^
Penny fix who those who dont know if replacing these little white cushions on the bottom of the xbox motherboard with 4 stacks of 3 pennies wrapped in electrical tape.
