numbers are a bit closer than I thought they would be, but overall so far its 13 that haven't died and 17 that have. But considering 8 of those 17 are on #3 or higher, it is more like 29 or more that have died, sometimes just multiple for the same person.

my xbox displayed the rrod pattern yesterday so i turned it off and turned it right back on and it played games the rest of the day without a problem. what is that all about and should i just make the service call anyway(worried it will fail after my warranty is up in august) or should i just wait it out?

For those of you who are on more then their first and had the option of a Product Service plan including unlimited fixes or replacements but didn't buy the Product Service Plan, you're an idiot.
I paid 70$ for my Product Service Plan and I had to replace my 360 once already (got it in December), and it cost me nil. I also had to replace my controller, and my headset. Futureshop also fixes any other 360 accessories, even the ones I did not buy there or with the 360.
