ok why do we have to be calling names?? I mean I got mine covered for my 360 breakdown but if people lapse on it doesn't make an idiot, just they didn't think ahead

For those of you who are on more then their first and had the option of a Product Service plan including unlimited fixes or replacements but didn't buy the Product Service Plan, you're an idiot.
I paid 70$ for my Product Service Plan and I had to replace my 360 once already (got it in December), and it cost me nil. I also had to replace my controller, and my headset. Futureshop also fixes any other 360 accessories, even the ones I did not buy there or with the 360.

I got Circuit City's protection plan, but it only covered the first two years. It never helped me any. Some people might not be willing to spend money on something they might not ever use. Ecspecially when these costs should/are covered by Microsoft.

Ok, I'm a Idiot. I've sent mine in 8 times. Let me see I paid NOTHING!!!! All were 3RROD= fixed for free.
I have found myself in possession of a 3rd system. It works perfect and is for sale for 185.00 ( premium with Hard drive, head set, and all of the cords ) One of my friends bought a PS3. ( what a moron )

I have never purchased an extended warranty with any piece of electronic equipment I have EVER BOUGHT. EVER EVER EVER.
In my 280 years, I've bought A LOT of equipment.
And yes, I've gone through FIVE- count em- FIVE Nintendo Dseseseseses (that's 5 es as well). Never bought an repair or replace warranty from any place I've bought them from. My 360 had to be fixed... but it was still (barely) covered by the MS warranty- and then MS renewed it for another year, so now I've got 2 years coverage for no more than the cost of the machine.
Manufacturer's warranty does me just fine. Anything that breaks past that most likely broke from causes not covered by the store warranty anyway. I worked at toys r us a loooooooong time ago, and even the electronics people said that for people over 16 (which is the age at which it can safely be assumed that people can take care of their stuff responsibly- although that's not a set in stone rule either), the store warranty was pretty much unnecessary, and designed to part people with more money than intelligence from some of their money. I don't happen to have much of either, I suppose. But don't fling names around because you think what you do is what everyone should do.

I bet Toy's R Us was pretty cool back in the 1800's, everything being hand made an all.
Man it's pretty cool to have a Immortal on are site. I sure you have an ancient sword somewhere to. I'll watch for stories of decapitations out west. ( There can be only ONE!!! )

i got so scared yesterday, my power supply light was red and it wouldnt turn on for the life of me, brought the power supply to gamestop and it fired up their 360 so i thought my box died for the second time, luckily i plugged it back into my box and it's been working ever since ! last time i had to send my box in for repairs it took them 4 weeks and 3 days to return it i never want to go through that again

I chose "I'm on my first console" just because every RROD I've had was fixed by microsoft. I'm on my 3rd console but its because I sold the others. One cuz it was modded and got banned from Live. Sold it to a lady who didnt want her son getting on Live behind their back so it was perfect for her. Sold the 2nd to my bro this last week cuz I bought an elite.
