This is a pretty good question. He's talking about how the host of the game has the advantage. Everything he does is instant, while other users need to travel across live to the host's 360, and out again. I'd say it's a noticeable advantage when you're the host.

Well, is the tourney 3v3 or 4v4? If it's 3v3, just give host to a "ref" so that way all players have the lag. Now, make sure the ref has a certain skin and everyone knows that skin. Replace a gun, say, the hammerburst, with frag grenades. The ref will just sprint to the grenades and commit suicide, thus evening the teams. Plus, be sure that everyone knows that nobody is allowed to pick up that swapped weapon except for the suicide ref. That way, the match stays an even 3v3, and everyone experiences that same lag... Just a thought though.
