Yea....what about the people who are in game cheating / standbying? Can I go on xbox.com and click on there name and see it saying there a cheater? Why single out the gamesavers? People who boost in games for achievements.....what makes them any different....I would not consider a booster getting an achievement, Legit. But I really dont wanna discuss the situation anymore. Lost cause talking to you people. But PSORaine I still respect and agree with what your saying.

You have a point, but unfortunately it boils down to one thing. Microsoft has control over the game savers and the means to identify who they are. They don't with boosters. Not to mention the fact that boosting does not break the End User Agreement that every person with a LIVE account agrees to....

I don't think anyone gets 'ALL' of their achievements legit. You boost on a few. Not saying all of them but who doesn't, you can't say you haven't got friends to help you get an achievement(s), some achievements are too ridiculous.
When you game save you don't even put forth effort of trying to play the game, I don't see the point of it anyways..

Heh, drawing back before you get flamed some more? I believe the cheater has lost the battle...and retreating because we can't see his twisted way of saying that cheating's alright because it "took him so many man-hours" to get his GS that high. It's almost as if I broke into someone's house and it's legit because it took me so long to pick the door/take stuff out/etc. What we're getting at is that even if it took you so much "effort" to gamesave your gamerscore up, it's still breaking the rules, and you should recieve punishment for doing so, even if you legitimately did earn some gamerpoints.

At the end of the day, MS are the ones with the power. If they want to punish people for violating their terms and conditions then thats their right.
How much time you put into your gamerscore is a none-issue. What is an issue is if you meet their criteria as a cheater. I think that they're being very fair on having to meet it 100%.

Why...I have not been caught. Do you see 0 gamerscore...I will stick with gamesaving and will go down with the rest of them. I think gamesaving was a good decision on my part as I've made many good friends and had some fun events due to it. MS can do as they please....it is their service I suppose. Even if I pay $50 a year for something they manipulate.

I believe you are out of gas at that point as well: I pay Sprint $50 a MONTH for a service they manipulate: Sure, I can call who I want (play whatever game you want), but if I use their service inappropriatley, I can be disconnected without any forewarning what so ever. I signed a contract, same as you, and am bound by that contract, same as you.

Look man, you've been warned. They say gamesaving violates their terms, then they have the right to do whatever. I really think they're being generous by just resetting the scores, it is well within their rights to ban you. Regardless of if you pay money. You agree to abide by their rules when you sign up. End of story.

You all have really good points, but if his choice was to gamesave then let him be, no need to argue about stupid little points that literally mean nothing but just pride to other gamers. He has no problem with how he got his points, if he thinks gamesaving is fine and you don't then thats your opinion, lets not start a huge flame war over something NONE of us have control over
