Actually no I'm not freaking out. Yes I have cheated for gamerscore. Do I honestly care if it goes down to 0? Yea, Cheating or not I have put alot of my time into that pointless number next to my name. For them to just erase something like that just pisses me off. I just can't wait for them to ban people that didnt cheat. I also have another account that has over 50K so I dont possibly know how they are going to find EVERYONE who has cheated. The funniest part about all of this is people are getting there accounts stolen and charged MS points but they have no way of tracking who stole it. Why dont they find someway to fix something that is actually illegal besides something stupid like cheating there horrible system. If there achievement system was good to begin with there would have been no cheating.
Anyway for most of you that do not know....people who cheated and gamesaved in the early gamesaving days had there xbox banned from xbox live for uploading saves to the site. So this reseting to 0 really doesnt compare to them making my $400 machine not work online. But before flaming me try to think about putting alot of hours into something and having it all taken away. Gamesaving or not you still had to put alot of man hours into it. But unless you actually had this amount of GS and are getting it reset you really have no idea of what Im talking about.

I have a little over 30,000 GS and have earned every single point LEGIT. It has taken a lot of time to accumilate just this amount. I could give a fuck less if you spent the last 4 years straight gamesaving and cheating to get achievements. You did NOT EARN THEM LEGIT!!!!!!!!!! "Man hours"?, are you fuckin serious?!
So in all actuality your gamerscore should mean nothing, and thats why people who cheat deserve to have a GS of 0 and be marked as a CHEATER!!!

First off I was saying before I get flamed meaning the posts to come, not the posts that were already said....so basically I meant your post telling me to "Grow a pair." And you so called "Best Part" has a little flaw bud.....All you would need to do is change your GT on the account that has been reset and make a new account with the same gamertag....
For this whole it took alot of man hours....yes I can personally tell you I have spent much much muchhhhh more time on my profile then someone with even 50-60K legit. I didnt even start gamesaving until I was at about 35K. You guys think when you gamesave you put a save on a memory card and *POP* 1000. No no no you guys got it all wrong. Even with saves most games still take work. Even some games there is no way of cheating. I can whine about anything that I feel like whining about....but I have not whined about anything. I am just stating that this whole reset thing is garbage and unless banning or reseting EVERYONE who has cheated whats the point of banning or reseting some. Before you can even understand this whole situation you would need to have cheated and know exactly what is going on. And like I said before.....instead of microsoft working on real issues such as the stealing of accounts there to busy worrying about their stupid achievement system that got "whooped."

I'm going to simplify what you're saying.
You are basically saying that, if I steal a car, since it took me days and days to plan how to do it, it's okay.
You cheated. Spin it any way you like, but you flat out cheated.
Anyways, my official comment on this is that I'm glad that they're doing this. While the Gamerscore thing is not vastly important to me, I'm finding that I'm spending more time playing older games trying to get those points, so it's gradually becoming important to me, but it's not the end of the world.

It's called a generalization. Yes, I read your post. It was the first thing that came to mind.
You are comparing your "man hours" put in while game saving, which is cheating. So, all of those "man hours" that I would put into stealing this hypothetical car, you are trying to defend what you are doing.
Hence, the analogy. Perhaps it doesn't make sense to you since it's talking about your defense, but it makes sense to me.
EDIT: Regardless, I've said my piece. You admitted to game saving, I said what I think, and that's about it.
