Hey everyone!
I know many of you enjoyed the Friendly Gamerscore Competitions that were going on in the forums for a while. Unfortunately they were a lot of work for the organizers who managed them. Now, to bring back the fun without the burden, we've created a new Gamerscore Competitions section to the site.
Weekly competitions will be automatically created by the site at midnight before Monday. The winner of a weekly competition gets a temporary award until the next competition ends and the system grants the award to the new winner.
Also, as a fun activity for the summer, we've created the Summer 2009 Gamerscore Competition. This competition will span 8 weeks, or 10,000 gamerscore points depending on just how good of wafflers you all are. The winner will receive a unique, permanent award and a 1600 Microsoft Point card.
To participate in a competition you must enter in. Xbox America members are not automatically entered into the competition.
To make room for the "Competitions" link on the top navigation, the "My Threads" page has been moved into the User CP.
Note: There hasn't been any thorough testing of the competitions yet so bugs may appear. Please report them either in this thread or through a private message. Thanks!
