Went into GameStop today because my sister wanted a Nintendo DS game. And I saw they just happened to be hiring. So, since my birthday is 2 weeks, 2 days away. I decided to grab a job application. The manager said they were typically looking for an 18 year old. But said to give it a try anyway. Since apparently theyre saying for jobs is, "An Equal Opportunity Employer". So Im gonna fill this out, give it to them sometime in the next few weeks. And hopefully, just maybe, get my first job.

That would be amazing to me. Haha, I was looking at the part that says, "Salary or Wage Desired" and my dad goes, "For you just working there wouild be pay enough"

lol, um kami if u wait 2 weeks the position will probably be filled by then. jobs at places like that go by pretty fast.

haha. i have too though not old enough yet. still 2 weeks till bday. but the sign just went up awhile ago so hopefullyyy. XD

plus I need to find references. and since i have midterms this week and next. dont have time to do that lol.

if it gets done before then, then all means though. ill give it to them, just cant actually work until the 31st.

hah. i dont even have my permit.

and actually that place is always looking for employees around here. plus if worse comes to worse, I give it to the other GameStop in the mall.

personally, i've worked in factories since i was your age.
i couldn't stand working with customers.

i think my job is about to go under though....

if it does, i'm gonna' grind my teeth and go back to school...
and become a mechanic! hopefully.... if i'm smart enough lol.

haha it was real funny today. i was there and this old guy was trying to figure out if he had some pinball game for ps2 already. and after 15 minutes he still couldnt decide whether to buy it or not. so the manager told him to buy it and bring it back within 7 days for a full refund. and this guy just kept on thinking. then he goes and says, "alright take this $20, im gonna run this out to my buddy and see if he knows if its the same game." and the manager just gives him the weirdest look ever. and tells him to have his buddy come here or do what he said before because obviously he cant leave the store without buying the game.

after the dude left, the manager and one of the employees were talking about him. the manager goes, "yea alright hold on, im gonna run this PS3 out to my buddy to see if its the same console." i laughed so hard.

I can't stand most of the employees at my local gamestores. They CARDED me today when buying oblivion goty... i laughed at him so hard and said "that's awesome" he replied "what's awesome?" i asked him if i looked 16 and he mumbled something about steep fines for selling to minors. He was wrong on my age by a decade.
