They were probably laughing because people are always trying to pull something on them. My wife tells me about stuff people try to pull in her store and I'm just shaken my head and can't believe some of the shit I'm hearing.
Also watch out for people that will be watching for a new employee. They could careless if it might get you fired as then there will just be another new employee to scam.
Also if anyone wants you to just break down with out buying anything a 100 or a 50, Don't do it!!! Your not a fucking Bank and they might be setting you up for something or just seeing how much money is in the till.
Also never put the money they give you in the drawer before you make their change. You can't believe how many people will try to say that they gave you a different amount than what they did. If it's right there, then there is no argument.
Just a few tips.....Good luck man!!!

I have never had much problem with the employees at my local gamestop...But last night I did go by there and take back Legendary, and Lego Indy ( I bought four games the night before) and instead of giving me my money back for the two games, the new girl that was working there gave me my money back from the FOUR games, plus the magazine and strat guide I bought....Now, I know that was probably wrong of me...but........................oh well.
I went back today and got fallout 3, banjo kazooi, and prince of persia......and they forgot to put banjo kazooi in the bag...so now i have to go up there and talk to them...The manager is cool, so if he is there when I get there than I can get it back....I just know know how the other fucks will react because they might think i am trying to scam them...but it aint my fault

Alright so quick question....
I traded games too much at gamestop, again...lol...and got locked out of the computer at the store...my question is, and i ask this because i thought i read that someone else said it.
Since I'm locked out of the store, can I go to another gamestop and get the money back for the games I got ( do the exchange in 7 days this)...its a franchise, so wouldn't I be locked out of all stores?
