Alright, so either your best hope, or your worst fear, has been realized. In a recent interview, it seems that Bobby Kotick, Chief of Activision Blizzard, has inadvertently confirmed a rumor that DJ Hero is soon to be released. The interview, which can be seen here, was done by CNBC. In it, Kotick can be quoted as saying "we have this product called DJ Hero coming out later this year, which is a turntable that you actually can play competitively and spin discs and mix songs."
That's right, so all of you aspiring young DJs can try your hand and mixing up some beats. That...sounds like it could be fun...I thought disc scratching went out with the 90's, but I guess Activision is bringing it back! At any rate, love it or hate it, you will at least have to walk past it in the store sometime this year. Big Christmas gift of '09? Anyone?
