So it's been a full week without playing WOW and I can truly say that I haven't missed it one bit. I think this time I've really broken the habit. Woot for self discipline.

I have a question. What game is more addictive, Runescape or WOW?

idk, depends on how big of a nerd/geek someone is. some might say wow, but others might say runescape..
so idk, depends on how you look at it really

I think the hardest part (for me) is letting go of all that hard work. I think you should be able to sell your account (legit) or pay a small annual fee to keep your character saved (in case you change your mind).
Side note: I FFXI not WoW

It was againt the rules, but I sold my account to a MMO once and netted $300. I'm pretty sure I got all the money I invested in subscription fees back. The game was still a waste of my life though.
Selling your account is a great way to quit cold turkey too. Once you loose everything, you can't just go back. It's fantastic.

Wow accounts do not dissapear like ff accounts. Therefore the account is worth less money for selling purposes and is more tempting to come back to... blizzard really knows what they are doing. I once traded my old old wow account for a ton of platinum in guild wars. I ended up regretting it when I started wow back up

I was once tempted to sell my high level Healer / Guild Leader in an old MMO Lineage II when I left, but instead decided to start tossing all of my gear and items out into my castle with all my guildmates saying their goodbyes while frantically running around pickup up my stuff.
It was the best last hour of my Lineage gaming experience and was happy to help out my friends instead of just selling my account.
This time around though, I have just quit cold turkey with WoW, but haven't sold / gave away anything, as I wasn't really close to the guild I was in. Who knows, maybe one month, I'll log in if my friend wants to pay for a month for me, just so I can give him all my stuff, LOL.

Haha, that's bad when you are so addicted that you have to cancel your WOW account! Proud of you man!! You did the right thing lol. See you on XBOX!
