Not that i will be participating in this event, as a contender that is, i offer to be part of the judge jury and executioner's team though 
Bear with me on this one.
But how about a "league" type of competition, that is broken up into gs categories, say like the world cup, group A will be consisting of players with 0-50,000 starting gamerscore, group B 50,001-100,000gs, Group C 100,001-150,000gs, Group D 150,001-200,000. and continuing on until the highest starting gs has a group of at least 4. then every month each players score will be taken and the top four in each group will be awarded points 1st-5 points, 2nd- 3 points and 3rd- 2 point 4th- 1 point. for a group to be "entered" it must have at least 4 competitors...
Then after say 3 months of "league" play, playoffs begin but with a twist, two teams will be formed of the top 4 point scorer's in all the groups, for example
Group A
1st place- AA
2nd place- ZZ
3rd place- BB
4th place- YY
Group B
1st place- CC
2nd place- XX
3rd place- DD
4th place- WW
Team 1 for playoff's will be AA, XX, BB, WW, and team 2 will be ZZ, CC, YY, and DD. and so on if there is more than 2 groups.
The play offs will be a total head to head team 1 vs team 2 ...
each month the winner will be team with most combined gamerscore, this will go on for 3 months unless say team 2 wins the first 2 months.
Here's the twist, then after the playoffs is won, the team winning wins the main prize, but then there will be an mvp prize. This will be a head to head 1v1, the gamers with the highest gain in the playoffs from each team, 2 weeks, to win mvp.
Part rules:

So I used a little satire, and you got bent out of shape. Maybe take your own advice and don't take it so seriously.
As for what's-his-douche and his shitty tactics, that's not my fault. So don't act as though I single handedly ruined the comp. I just came forward with the info that I had. It was in the name of fairness even though I'd rather hit him with a car than talk to him.

Look dude, I never had a problem with you so I'm just going to ask why you felt the need to post this in a thread that had nothing to do with you. Why couldn't you have PMed me if you had such a problem with how I choose to post? What are you trying to accomplish by posting this?
Let me make something clear. THIS type of post is the reason that I feel the need to defend myself, because now I am not only defending my opinions from people who already dislike me and want to start shit with me, now I have to defend myself from people that I have no problem with.
What the fuck are you trying to accomplish? The reason that it seems like I have been coming in and posting nothing but opinions is because I rarely post anymore. I post my completions in the completion 2.0 thread and the bulk of my other posts are in the GS tourney threads. This one because it was set up for opinions and ideas for the next one, and the 2011 thread because it is full of controversy due to a lack of foresight and inability of the host to run it smoothly without decisively quelling said controversy.
Also, I don't constantly say to not take things so seriously. I have said that exactly once. (probably in my entire life) It just happens to be the post that you quoted.
As for "sounding like I might be the shit," and my "egotistical internet awesomness," Why would I not feel like the shit? Look at the type of people that try to attack me. I have no doubt this is another attempt by you and your new friends to try to get me to lose it and get banned or whatever it is you guys want, but I'm just not so easily goaded into blowing my stack.
