I really like Mayo's idea so I am going to follow suit.
On Friday, August 15, I will donate more to XbA in someone else's name.
If you would like to be a contributor but can't spare the cash right now, send me a private message before the 15th.
Depending on how many speak up, I'll figure out some sort of mini-contest or maybe just a random choosing.
Boobs, Zob, Hektic, Mayhem, Puck, you guys have all done an awesome job with Xbox America. All of us appreciate the time & energy you put into this terrific gaming community.

Thank you all for your help! This afternoon we reached our goal of $500!
This means all our operating costs for the next year are covered. Any additional donations we receive will go towards next year, costs for advancements (such as software) or community events. We'll keep accepting donations for the rest of August, and updating the meter. In the beginning of September is when we'll have the drawing.

I know I'm just the average joe user, howeve, I want to thank everyone for contributing to help keep the operation of this site possible. It's great to see the community help pitch in. Edit: Donations need to be processed manually, so it may be a few hours until your donation will be recorded and appear in the progress meter. The account is monitored as much as possible to make this process as quick as it can be.
