But to answer your question, yes...you should get it
If nothing else just wait a week for it to be released and see what people are saying about it. I didn't have an xbox 360 at the time so I don't know about any glitches Oblivion may have had when it released. Can someone tell us of any?

Can someone tell us of any?1. slice your sword and immediately open your inventory and drop a potion, if done right it'll break into like, 50 of them.
2. completing ALL side quests RIGHT AFTER you get out of the sewer may cause one of the guys you are supposed to talk to for the main storyline to be incapped by someone. he never gets back up
3. killing an entire city will cost you fully decorating your house, cause the shop owner is dead. not a glitch, just something i found out in my spare time
and there are many many many more glitches that were around for awhile.

Yeah, they usually ship pre-orders a little early so you get it on the day of release.
It actually came to just over $20 with shipping.
