people who do this grind my gears too. or the ones who help you, but wont talk to you. ive had 2 cases where both have happened
case 1, doing 50 waves on nowhere. it was me, greg, aidan, masterchief, and some other loser. other guy 'has to go right quick, be back in 10 minutes' this is at...oh idk...wave 15? maybe 20? i dont think we were that far. so the guy leaves....were doin 1-50...we finish wave 49, start up 50. oh shit, guess who shows back up? that guy. 'sorry guys i had a family emergency' -.- yea....riiiigghhhtt......greg and aidan should remember that...
case 2, was doin the Angelic Ruins Underdome Riot w/ these 2 guys....well i joined, they were talkin....suddenly they stopped talking (we were all in a party) come to find out, the two fuckers were in a private chat talking to each other and completely ignoring me! i hate people who do that. its one thing, if you dont have a mic...you can still hear me. but when you go in a priv chat w/ your butt buddy? thats just not right....

I'm with you guys on this. I do agree about the second issue, but I think if there is no need for communication and someone wants to leave to chat and they TELL everyone I think its okay. At least communicate you are popping out of chat, geez.
Oh and people who think their opinion is a fact really grind my gears. Of course that is like everyone on the internet

Yeah I've done a fair bit of gears boosting with those guys. My prob with that is it gets eerie cuz noone talks much and I can only use my turtle beach headset and that sucks and I'm afraid that if I put my iPod in one ear that I'm goin to fall asleep in the middle of a boost....... Also gears 1 and 2 grind my gears

Sometimes they take awhile to get seated properly and this can be exacerbated by temperature and humidity.
Try going out and slamming on your brakes a few times, should get rid of this.
