I can't stand collectibles at all and every game seems to have tons of them anymore.
Fuck those feathers.

It depends. If there are collectibles in a game that I enjoy and they actually add to the game, then I'm all for it.
However, most sets of collectibles take players out of the game. The "collectibles" in The Saboteur were fun for me because they were part of game play. The agility orbs in Crackdown were good because they were in the spirit of the game mechanics. Film reels in Bioshock also added to the story. Collecting shields in Harry Potter completely takes you out of the game. And if I'm playing some shitty kids game, I don't want to run around for two extra hours picking up stupid shit just for the sake of busy work.

I found those feathers, haha. I think I remember being able to see them marked on your map; it's been too long since I played it.
Edit: you can check individual city progress in the start menu, and they glow white when using eagle vision. It's not too late to complete it!

Yeah, I picked up all of the feathers, but the flags in the first game? No dice.

I like them if they take me to areas of the game that I might not have thoroughly explored (but only if I enjoyed the game).
Plus it's always nice if there's some form of in-game tracking. I hate it when I can't know the general area of a missing collectible.

I was also missing 2 when I finished. I was lacking the one in the gazebo area outside of the lodge. And the other was near the gas station if I recall, but instead of going towards the gas station it was on the road going away from it.
Check a video guide for those spots and see if you remember snagging them.

Same. I don't like none of em.

This was the one I used the guide for, I thought for sure I'd run into the couple times I played through it but I just took 4 years off my life through frustration and despair.
