Got home this afternoon to learn that lightning struck the huge tree that splits our property line during some bad t-storms that rolled through northern Ohio today. My neighbor tells me their computer tower got fried and that their washer and dryer weren't working. The only thing affected in our house was our two DirectTV DVR boxes. O_o

They're both fucked up bad.

My HD DVR box wont even turn on even though I can hear the fan blowing in the back of it. My cousin's standard def DVR box turns on and we get sound but no picture on it. :baffled:

Luckily, the HD box w/out a DVR that I have in my bedroom still works fine cause it has to hold us over until next Tuesday which is apparently the earliest DirectTV can get someone out here unless something opens up in the meantime. :mad:

I'm just glad that my Xbox and Macbook along with my cousin's laptop were unaffected.

the reason i dont think he's gay is because he's got a few pictures on his facebook of him with 1 girl, so, assumption, its his girlfriend. case closed on my part. is he gay on the side? Gamestop in Ashland, Ohio grinds my gears and this is why:

I bought Portal 2 for PS3 just because it comes with Portal 2 for the PC. That and because I need to get a new 360. I had to go to the Gamestop in Ashland because I was at my parent's house to help them take the carpet out of their dining room.

I wanted to trade in a few games because Gamestop was having a deal for Portal 2 NEW for $39.99. I stayed at my parents for a few days, went home, put in my key for Portal 2 and it said the key was invalid because it was already in use. A NEW copy??? When I bought the game it was new and sealed. They must have opened it, written down the key and sealed it back up.

I contacted Steam and after a few days I finally got a response from Steam about my Portal 2 CD key and guess what? Someone from Gamestop DID steal my key. They closed that person's Steam account and gave my key back to me by putting it in my Steam account. I had to take a picture of my receipt and code and send it to Steam.

I'm downloading it now and it says that I've played it for 2 hours already. They must not have liked it enough to finish the game I guess. I know I'm not going to that Gamestop ever again.

Here's a message I recieved from "I GOT VVTI" whom joined a Shift 2 boosting session that i was in tonight and that i backed out of because of them joining the session: "why do u think im a hacker when i join sessions?"

My reply:
"I dont think you are i know you are cuz you told me when we were boosting moh airborne that you hacked the unobtainable achievements in nfs carbon and that you do all the achievements that you cant get legit...and im gonna make sure that everytime i happen to see you in a tourney to let everyone know that youve modded your gamerscore by getting unobtainable achievements and ill be the first one to see that you get deleted from the site because you are fucking it up for everyone else...its assclowns like you that want to get in and play games with people and "try to earn some achievements like everyone else does when they boost" but if its an achievement that no one has and cant get you just decide to hack it...you're an idiot for hacking achievements in the first place, youre an idiot for hacking achievements that NO ONE was able to get in the first place without hacking them and no one is gonna notice, and youre an idiot for thinking that just cuz you boost games with people that that lessens the fact that you hacked UNOBTAINABLE achievements...as competitive as some people are on this site you would think that you wouldnt be only 1 of 20 people to gain an achievement on a game that is 4+ years old...that being said strike one, and the fact that you have roughly 1/3 of all your total achievements earned offline, benefit of the doubt to you hacking all those as well...doesnt take much for people to see the facts and make their own decisions and the fact that you have 100% on carbon which NO ONE does because it cant be done legit is all the facts that myself or anyone else needs"
