Can't get enough of Fallout, or a Bethesda fanboy (can't get enough of 360 Fallout)? Cause there's a difference.
NV is BY far my favorite- and I don't know any die hard FO 1&2 fans (like people who played them YEARSSS ago and were chomping at the bit for the 3rd to come out) who liked 3 better... if you're an old school FO fan, you'd absolutely be the first. Don't get me wrong, it was a fun game, but it was more "Oblivion with guns in the wasteland" than Fallout. I think Obsidian just did a far better job of capturing the "Fallout essence." Also, what the hell could you POSSIBLY do in Oblivion or FO3 for that long? I completed the entire game and all the DLC in like- 100 hours for Oblivion, and 40 hours in Fallout 3, and by the end there was just NOTHING going on! You realize how long 3000 hours is, right? That's playing 24 hours a day for 4 months... I played FFXI every day for a few YEARS and didn't come close to that much playtime... and that game changes constantly...
I am a fairly gigantic Fallout fan and I'd really like to know what essence that Obsidian tapped into, because when i got that game on release, the only thing that was tapped into was how poorly a game could be de-bugged before release. NV was merely a Fallout 3 clone, graphically anyways(its doesn't matter that they increased the gamma to 1,000 percent it looked exactly the same as Fallout 3.)
I never played Fallout 3 for 3,000 hours( ), but i did tip the 300 scale, and I can assure you there is plenty of stuff you can do after all the quests are finished. If you looked for it there was a lot of little stories to be found out there.

So our garage reeked of gasoline earlier as I was leaving to go to the gym tonight and I was worried that it was from my van but I didn't see any wet spots in the garage. I backed it out and sat in the driveway while I sniffed around and under it, didn't smell gas at all so I figured if I get back and it still stinks in the garage, I'll know it wasn't the van. I get back and it still reeks of gas so I checked under the mower and see a wet spot. I thought I had ran it dry the last time I used it but apparently there was still some fuel in it. Dammit! I had to crack the garage door to vent the stench.

A match would've gotten rid of it faster...

IDK how anyone could spend hundreds OR thousands of hours in the game, unless there are just hundreds of undocumented sidequests laying around in the wasteland...

Why did you post a picture of AJ? did his birthday coincide with the game or something?

Achievements that don't pop piss me off more than anything when it comes to games. Like faggotass monopoly. I made the bank run out of hotels with regular monopoly rules. Does the achievement pop when it happens? Nope. Does it pop when the game is over? Nope.
Now I have to waste another 2 fucking hours because of this piece of shit.

Sometimes I grind my own gears.
I frequently don't write up achievement guides on TA.com simply because I hate people that give thumbs down for no reason. I don't expect everyone to like my guides, but usually when I do write one I spend a fair amount of time on it.
So I put up a guide for You Don't Know Jack for the second DLC for getting all the prizes. However in my rush to do so I freaking messed up two of the answers. Some folks were kind enough to point it out without giving me the thumbs down. Damn it though! The one time I rush to put up a guide and I put up a broken one.....GRRRRR!!!
