What do you mean by continuous states?, and this site does focus on each state! If you looked around this site, you'd have seen each state has it's own leaderboard!

Lots of people hear the word contiguous in reference to the states (on TV infomercials, etc... refer to shipping or prize winners in the contiguous states) but people who don't know the word assume they heard continuous since that is a word they are familiar with.
