Mass Effect was boring, if you liked Oblivion it's 100000 times better than Mass Effect IMO. I would get Fallout 3 or Borderlands (sorry if you've played those I didn't check your recent games).

Yeah, Fallout 3 GOTY used should run you about $40 and would definitely be worth it, no multiplayer though.
The few interesting multiplayer games I can think of are probably "dead" as far as the online goes so you'd have to hassle with setting up matches with other people here, on X360A, etc., so that would be a pain.
Lady Evol's a peanut butter doodie head though, ignore her. Mass Effect is a neato game. Lots of reading though, and personally I don't like how long it takes to get out of the 'starting' area.

back to the OP, i would recommend borderlands.
it's an awesome shooter rpg with 4 player co-op. i think you'd dig it.
