Bioshock Infinite
I’m a huge fan of the original, and overall found this to be a close return to it (definitely better than the 2nd), but not quite. The action/controls are just as tight, but I didn’t find the story and atmosphere as appealing. The world of Rapture is hard to top, and although Columbus is a better world than 95% of game worlds, it’s still not close to me. The first also had a much spookier, creepy vibe to it that Infinite never quite reaches. Initially I was very apathetic about where the story was going, but I thought the ending was good and certainly something different. Overall, I think it’s definitely a must play, but I don’t get the 90%+ ratings it’s been getting since release.

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel
I liked it more than I anticipated after reading all of the reviews on it. Like many shooters that have come out in the last decade, everything works, but there’s very little you haven’t already played before. Rios and Salem are no longer the primary characters, though they do appear throughout the story, which is really just a distraction; the story’s not particularly interesting, and adds very little to the game. I liked the previous entries, and this one sticks pretty close to what did work best about them – a lot of action and tons of guns. This would be a nice rental for a weekend, as the story is quite short (4-5 hours), and very few of the achievements are much of a grind at all. I think I knocked out 33 of 49, without really worrying too much about them. If you like the previous entries, you MAY can justify a purchase at a reduced price point ($20-30), but if not, either pass or rent for the achievements.

Just beat Lollipop Chainsaw... I'd give it a 3/10. Pretty poor game, got the 3 for the funny dialogue throughout the game.
