Are the newer 'slims' not able to play PS2 games or did Sony just not build B/C into the new machines?

the slims do not have BC with ps2 games, but the fat ps3 do but however I suggest not getting the 40 GB ps3s because those ps3 models depending on where you get them locally they will either have no BC or they will have BC with ps2 games unless u get them on ebay

I have the 160GB slim. Sucks that it only has 2 USB ports.

have the 80gb ps3 motor storm bundle thats backwards compatible bought it sketchy brand new for 200 when they had been out for about 6 months i think. but everything works fine with it so no problems.

They don't have have backwards compatibility because they caused so many yellow lights of death and also they were losing money because everyone bought PS2 games....I have a 120gb blu-ray player

I don't think Blu-ray is work the cost, Im fine with HD.
