This is exactly the kind of thread that should have been bumped rather than having a new one made! The other thread has FIVE pages of responses, the most recent from LAST WEEK.

It isn't trolls bitching at people for bumping dead threads, the trolls are the ones who read our welcome posts asking them to search before making a new thread, who see the GIANT search bar at the top of the page, who see NUMEROUS members with sigs requesting new members use the search feature, then say "fuck them, I'm making my own thread anyway!"

Agreed...but...I posted in here because I CAN'T stand the other thread title.

No but seriously after i graduate HS in May, im gonna be training to be a Police Officer and when i turn 18 in August is when i will go into the Detroit Police Department to start the process. I dont plan doing normal patrol for that long, my goal is to do Narcotics or be in DPD's "Gang Squad" (highly trained Gang resistance unit...or something like that).

I'm doing the same, except I'm finishing 4 years of college first, with only 2 left. Since we have the same career choice, I must ask, what made you decide to skip college? Well, i planned on doing school too. I am friends with a few Detroit police officers, and after a few years of work they decided to go to get a degree. So they did...class in the morning......streets at night. So basically i decided to skip school for now because for one....DPD is embarrassingly easy to get into (i have seriously seen like a 345 pound cop and he had to only be in his 20's) so i know i WILL do school later on down the line. Two, I have connections, besides my friends i have fortunately been able to meet and chat a nice little bit of time with Chief Warren C. Evans. Three, well....i know this what im gonna do...so im just going to tackle it now.

I'm saving for college and other odds and ends (a bike). But I oil paint, try to work on a farm, bike race, and run a photo blog.

It makes some money

I'm still a Junior in high school so I took in a part-time job at a grocery store called Rouses.
I'm a Service Clerk / Cashier, mostly service clerk.
All I do is push buggies and bag groceries, and clean at night.
I don't have a fixed schedule, sometimes I work 30 hours, sometimes I work 20.
I enjoy my job since it's REAL easy, all we do is walk in the parking lot on our phones talking ha.

I am a probation officer for youth between the ages of 10-18. No, I don't like it much - looking for something else.

I used to work for Ericsson building cellular phones until I got layed off. Since then I have become wheelchair bound and I dont do anything but paint, draw, and occasionally a car audio install or two with help from friends that is. Before got my chair I used to do custom car audio installs on the side, was a audio competitor for a few years did pretty well. So I have plenty of time to play games.

You are darn right sir. DPD's training program is known for being one of the toughest and longest out there.

i am a server/waitress in a restaurant.

i generally work nights, so i have all day to play games, although i dont.

i spend my afternoons with my son, sometimes he gets to play on his account.

i play when i get home from work, or after he is in bed (after 9)

i enjoy the balance in my life
