I just don't see the point in resurrecting a dead thread just to have some troll bitch at me for doing so. It gets to be really annoying, but looks like I get harassed this way too. Cheers!

Anyway, no harm, no foul. I just think it's cool the array of people are out there. I'm simply waiting for videogames to become mainstream, they're almost there. Got G4 and MLG, just need that little extra push to have people stop calling them kids games. But it's funny when you look at a thread like this and see IT, Law Enforcement, Construction, Retail, etc. Seems to me that the backbone of society plays video games...

1. Fast Food (McDonald's)
2. Crew
3. It fits well, since I don't let video games be a top priority in life. School and work are top priorities.
4. Working with more hours, to be honest. I need the moneyz.

1. Teacher/Coach

2. I teach math and science and Coach High School Boys Basketball

3. Leaves my nights and weekends open for gaming when I feel like it.

4. Definitely would NOT prefer to do something else. I got my degree in Mechanical Engineering and decided to do this instead. I could care less about the money I could have made in Engineering. I wanted to have fun working with kids and that's what I do.

No but seriously after i graduate HS in May, im gonna be training to be a Police Officer and when i turn 18 in August is when i will go into the Detroit Police Department to start the process. I dont plan doing normal patrol for that long, my goal is to do Narcotics or be in DPD's "Gang Squad" (highly trained Gang resistance unit...or something like that).

I'm doing the same, except I'm finishing 4 years of college first, with only 2 left. Since we have the same career choice, I must ask, what made you decide to skip college? It's VERY soon that you will HAVE to have a degree to go anywhere with it. I strongly recommend at LEAST getting an associates...

This is exactly the kind of thread that should have been bumped rather than having a new one made! The other thread has FIVE pages of responses, the most recent from LAST WEEK.

It isn't trolls bitching at people for bumping dead threads, the trolls are the ones who read our welcome posts asking them to search before making a new thread, who see the GIANT search bar at the top of the page, who see NUMEROUS members with sigs requesting new members use the search feature, then say "fuck them, I'm making my own thread anyway!"

Agreed...but...I posted in here because I CAN'T stand the other thread title.
