People are idiots for breaking the law. I don't care if it "should be legal" or whatever, the fact is that it is not legal. If I was a police officer in your area I would arrest you douches in a heartbeat.
because you've never done anything illegal in your life before? like drinking before you were 21, or speeding?
Hypocrisy is a funny thing.
There are many people that have Done Nothing illegal in their lifetime I myself Can't say that though BUT I can say I have never taken any kind of Drugs or Drank Alcohol, though that's by my choice It is so easy these days to get any kind of drugs or alcohol, well most kinds...

Good point, Meta. But if you're addicted to Coke.. How're you gonna get it?
... That's the law part.

I don't need those same politicians telling me one drug is "bad" and another is "ok".
Weed and coke are illegal right now because there aren't enough people that move it that are willing to jump in the government's pocket.
Alcohol and tobacco are legal because the people that deal in it ARE willing to scratch the right backs.
None of it has anything to do with right or wrong, good or bad. It's all politics and other people making decisions for you, and punishing you when you don't agree.

actually weed isn't illegal due to it being "bad" it was lumber companies forcing hemp out because it had so many uses and was cheaper and more durable for everything. it's not because weed is "bad" but it's due to large corporations that weed is actually illegal.

Matthew 7:3-5
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
Who are we to judge others? I am in control of my own body and life. I hope I set a good example for my family and friends. Sorry couldn't resist after reading this most of the day.
Nice

I agree with this, my dad smokes weed and lives a perfectly normal life. I don't smoke myself, but you shouldn't call someone an idiot for smoking weed.
People are idiots for breaking the law. I don't care if it "should be legal" or whatever, the fact is that it is not legal. If I was a police officer in your area I would arrest you douches in a heartbeat.
Just because authority exists doesn't mean it should be followed, respected or even tolerated. Actually, I'd argue it's each individual's duty to stand up against arbitrary rule.
Quote by Meta:
Legality means absolutely nothing.
This.

Who cares who smokes what? It's their life to live, let them face their own consequences or reap the rewards. I, personally, HATE someone telling me what is right or wrong. Why not makes decisions based on what you think is right, not because someone or something says it's okay. I mean, really, is weed that big of a deal........

I believe as citizens, we are entitled to that. We should make up our minds, not follow laws blindly.
Legality is just a formality, it makes some feel better, but at the end of the day, it mean absolutely nothing.

Again the whole illegality of why weed is because of large corporations, not because of the drugs effects at all.

You can't always use that as an argument though, while yes we all should be able to live our lives as we see fit sometimes somethings need to be enforced whether you like it or not. Such as drunk driving, just because you may feel that you should be able because you think it's right does not make it so.
No, but smoking weed in the privacy of your own home isn't the same as getting in a car, while intoxicated. I think you should do whatever you want as long as it doesn't bother others. Smoking weed and driving is a bad thing, to me. Is it because a book or person says so? No. While this opinion may not be yours, I feel this way, irregardless.
