i hope the show does the comic books justice and sticks to the story following the characters and their development and struggles to survive instead of becoming a horror fest where they just kill everything that comes near them (sorta like a left for dead game) there is also rumors of a video game coming out for the books/tv show later this year,no idea if its a arcade release of if its a retail thing.

If you can't put together a decent grammatically correct sentence. Turn off your computer and go read a book.

LMAO!
On a topic back to the thread, I'm really looking forward to the next season. I was kind of content for the last episode, least it didn't piss you off and make you wait until the next season to see what happened. I might pick up the comic...or graphic novel....what is it?

I'd wait if I were you. I've heard nothing good from fans of the comic in regards to how well the show follows the comic. I've never read it so I can't say for sure but apparently they've made changes which is not surprising if they want the show to last the typical 5-7 season lifespan.

I haven't read the comic series, but I think the television show is pretty good. I am not sure how Frank Darabont stepping down is going to affect the show, but I can only hope it wont hurt the show.

On my birthday, October 16th.
This October, the zombies will start roaming a bit earlier than last season. 'The Walking Dead' Season 2 kicks off Sun., Oct. 16 at 9PM on AMC.
Season 2 will be 13 episodes, over double Season 1's six-episode run.
Based on the popular comic book by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, the first season of 'The Walking Dead' broke ratings records for AMC, with the premiere episode watched by more than five million viewers and the finale closing out with six million viewers.
Joining the cast in Season 2 will be Lauren Cohan and Scott Wilson as Maggie and Herschel, tenants of a working farm that Rick, Lori and the rest of the crew find.
Stay tuned to AOL TV for more Comic-Con coverage, including scoop from 'The Walking Dead' cast.
