I have been looking into Seriously 3, and if I am correct, you have to participate in whatever weekend event Epic games is running for Gears 3. Last weekend, I tried to get into a qualifying match but I couldn't because I didn't have the required DLC. So, in order to get Seriously 3.0 or even to begin it, I have to have all of the DLC. Does anyone know if that is correct??

No, you don't have to have the dlc to play in the events.....they opened it up all you have to do is play a match of any type during the event....either beast, horde, or versus.....also the thing is there is only like 35 different events....and all they do is recycle them once they are over so say you play weeks 1-10 and miss weeks 11-16, and then play weeks 17-35....to get the achievement (30 events) you can't just play the next event after week #35...you have to wait (11 weeks) until week #11 cycles back up.

The roommates and I did some Hordeing last night, it was quite crazy. The waves were tickers followed by corpsers followed by wild tickers and lastly serapedes joined in the fun. Berserkers were the boss. This was on Normal with no mutators.
It got real crazy real fast when we played with mutators on. Especially the random reavers dropping in.
