This game has a lot of promise, the recent trailers and footage look mich improved from its original e3 showing. The gladiator mp mode could be cool as well.

So it's action, but there is a RTS element that relies on kinect voice commands...
Could be cool, could just be another failed kinect experiment. This actually started as a full kinect game but evolved into a action game /w kinect voice commands. Kind of like Binary Domain. I'll let you be the guinea pig! Let me know how it turns out. Certainly intriguing.
Edit: This has a confirmed season pass.

I am. Despite the negative things I've heard, I like the setting a lot, & it was a risk to do an ancient Rome FPS-like game as your launch, compared to PS4's Killzone, which in my opinion is more generic

It's getting shitty reviews as expected. (Game spot 4/10, Destuctoid 5/10, Game Informer 6/10) A bright spot is all of them said it's ridiculously easy. Might be the first waffle of the One.

Damnit, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be great. Once I read it was originally going to be a 360 Kinect-only title, I didn't hope for much.
Still, as long as it isn't horrific, I will probably enjoy it. The setting is so great and I agree with SeanPC thatb it was a bold, risky move to do this.
Other than Battlefield, this is the only launch title that actually has an interesting setting/concept to me. My internet isn't reliable enough to buy a BF game, and even though Dead Rising 3 is probably going to be sex I am just fatigued by zombies at this point.
Terribad Roman fighting, here I come!

If anything it will be extremely pretty and get you some GS. The graphics look amazing even if the combat doesn't.
I liked this quote:
"When I show my friends what Xbox One is capable of graphically, I’m going to pop in Ryse. The visuals are breathtaking, but the gameplay flips on a dime between being legitimately fun and downright bad. There is no middle ground. It’s very much the extreme of both."
