I'm on my second one. Luckily for me, M$ announced the three year warranty just before I got my first one, since that first one lasted for just over a year before it RRoD on me. The worst part about it dying on me when it did, was that it happened about two months before Fallout 3 came out, so I was hoping that I would have my box back from the service center in time for that.

I'm on xbox number 8. I have an elite now with a Jasper so I hope this one lasts but my worst was 2 years back I got a holiday bundle and it red ringed in a month. I took a break from my xbox then since I had a ps3 but I came back and have gone through 2 red rings since then. I don't have the patience to wait for MS so I just buy a new one when they die

I'm on my 3rd xbox and so far I've been just out of warranty when the other two died. So instead of paying microsoft to "fix" my 360 I just bought new ones.

Are you effing serious!?!?!? 8 xboxes??? I may be out of my xbox for a few weeks but they completely cover the cost of repairs. I guess I'm lucky in that they always blow up before the warranty expires.
