RROD..... Again

It is with great sadness and regret that I must announce the death of my 360. Funeral arrangements have been made. In lieu of flowers please send cash or Microsoft points to.....
Seriously though....
I've been sans XBOX for about two weeks now. This is my 3rd XBOX I've had to send away for repairs. This happen to anyone else? How many systems have you gone through?

Yeah I'm on my 2nd console.

First red ringed, sent it away and then the disk drive went and it was out of warranty. It stinks, but it could be worse -- some guys here are on their 6th and 7th consoles.

I own 2 -- one had Red Ring, the other E74.

Both were good for almost two years each before crappin' out, and they've both been fine since I got them back from MS, so we'll see...

I have two and the one had RROD and my elite had the E74 error, my elite was past waranty anyways so I opened it up and cleaned and replaced the heat sink compound and on the metal heat shield I wrote "fix these fucking heat problems this is bullshit!!" and it lasted another couple weeks before I had to send it in . . . cost me $100 but hopefully they saw the message . . .

Mine has been good for a while. No problem. My first one was a launch model, and didn't get RROD until the year before last....But when that one messed up, I actually did flip out on them. Guy was like it's going to cost you $100. I said...

Me- For what??
Him- To repair your xbox 360

Me- You heard me b*tch.
Him- Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to calm down.
Me- You know what....F*ck you and f*ck microsoft punk ass.

Me- Just shut ya ass up. Why the hell would I pay $100 for something you MS dipsh*ts f*cked up??

But yeah. I got my new 360. Along with a 1 month, 400 MS points, and 2 games. Lol.

On Christmas day I will have had my Xbox for a whole year, no problems like E74 or RRoD ever happened to me. Sorry about your loss though dude, it must suck!

my first xbox (2006 core) got the 2 rrod
My second xbox (2008 pro) got the E73
Im going to buy 3rd xbox on Christmas

Still on my first console. An Arcade I got two years ago this new years and upgraded to a 120g HD almost a year ago. I haven't had any troubles yet. *Knocks on wood*

Im on my second console, I had no problems wit my first one, it was just wear and tear. 5 years will do that to a 360 and it was a release console, got it 6 months after they came out wit the 360 so im glad it was only the AV port that crapped out on me....after 5 years
