Quote by The Snapple Cap:
I could never live in the country, shit the suburbs are too slow for me. I need to live in like NYC, love the pace and always something to do!
I lay awake at night, listening until I pass out, because I'm terrified someone will break in. Plus, I don't want to listen to other people's music. I couldn't live in the city.

You lay awake at night now or if you lived in the city? And QFT. I hated the shitty apartment building we lived in when we were living in Kent. Always some drunken college dipshits blasting shitty music or foreign students stinking up the hallways with fetid cooking aromas. The only thing I did like about it was that we were on the ground floor and I could just go in and out our patio door and avoid going thru the hallway altogether. I love our neighborhood here now though. It's nice and quiet. Been here almost 7 years now. Damn.

i live right next to a very rural place. hell, half my childhood i spent in the country here in good ol' Alabamy. i love how peaceful the country is, but i prefer being at an in-between place. never know when i need to head to Auburn for a night on the town.

You old farts are old. In my apartments, if I didn't like the shit the neighbors were playing too loud, I would plug in my huge Crate amp and practice boring guitar scales as fast as I could with a lot of distortion. When they yelled "turn your shit down!" I said "YOU FIRST MOTHERFUCKERS."
....of course, where I'm staying now it is in a secluded country neighborhood so I had to invest in some damn headphones
Kat it sounds like you should pick up a 'bars habit. Xanax + some Benadryl to sleep, lolz.

Still now! Which is why I'd be a wreck if we lived in the city!!! Which- btw- is happening in like- 3 months. Well, we're moving to a suburb, not an actual city, but still. Scaaaaary!
@Meta- a swig of nyquil helps on the worst nights...

"While Miyazaki's films have long enjoyed both commercial and critical success in Japan, he remained largely unknown to the West until Miramax Films released Princess Mononoke. Princess Mononoke was the highest-grossing film in Japan—until it was eclipsed by another 1997 film, Titanic—and the first animated film to win Picture of the Year at the Japanese Academy Awards. Miyazaki returned to animation with Spirited Away. The film topped Titanic's sales at the Japanese box office, also won Picture of the Year at the Japanese Academy Awards and was the first anime film to win an American Academy Award."
Abridged version:
Miyazaki had this pimp ass movie called Princess Mononoke which was the big time top tip top over in Japan, which he then retires after. outta nowhere 'murica frees the shit out of Japan's box office billoard motherfuckin scores with the most 'murican thing since obesity: TITANIC. Miyazaki was all like, fuck that shit, im the juggernaut bitch. so he came back and divine winded the fuck out of the the Jap BO with Spirited Away.
THE END.
