my job made a mistake on my paycheck, they only paid me for 1 out of the 2 weeks I worked, and the worst part is I can't get the pay for the missing week until my next pay check in 2 weeks. so I'm broke as a joke for next 2 weeks. fortunately I have assassins creed 3 and halo 4 both paid off.

^^ I've got an awful job/no payday story.
Several years ago, I worked at a job that paid once a month (at the time, many area schools did this). Well I started mid-month and I knew they held back a month also. But the second pay period rolled around and I got nothing. So I look into it and find that they didn't properly send payroll for my first partial month so the second month was considered my first month.
Three months. Three months. I was there three months before I saw a paycheck.

I wanted so bad, to get windows 8 and upgrade the laptop. I chose not to, as I am going to try and get the lady a Windows 8 Tablet for Christmas. I see windows 8 working much better on there, being a touch screen and all. Not to mention, can earn some achieves too!

just checked on the hurricane sandy report, apparently on top of it hitting new york and the eastern coast head on the range is reccord breaking, it's suppost to have a tropical reach of 700 miles, and at leastt a 100 mile hurricane zone, either way im praying it dosn't hit the coast of maine, i have a feeling the storm will die down once it reaches the coast up here but after reading a few updates on the weather channel im not to optamistic.

im in the same boat,nothing ever hits toronto.we havent had a tornado or hurrican hit us in over 70 years,havent had a earthquake in 60 years.we will get more rain and some light winds and i live in the downtown core so nothing is getting through all the highrises and skyscrappers
