SC 4 was almost exactly the same, minus a few new moves. Fighters have always been about juggling combo's, and juggling. Can you name a relevant fighter that isn't?
also the block button and then punishing can stop spammers.

You must be playing a different game from me. Block button hardly works. Not to mention you always gotta guess high or low and that makes blocking that much more harder.
This game is a ton more block and fight combos. Its not as smooth as sc4. It is whoever gets the combo going first and can spam their opponent in the air and on the ground, wins.
This game is geared way too much towards online play. The story mode sucked and was boring. Legendary souls is impossible to beat. I mean this game feels like a jump back from what it was.
Soul calibur 1 in its wholeness on the Dreamcast was tons better. If I had a dreamcast, I would consider playing it all over again.
I am just let down that Namco hardly tried to make this a great fighter. I hope to god they don't botch the next Tekken whenever that comes out.

I mean I agree I feel the game is definitely rushed. I'm disappointed in the single player, but I'm pretty bad right now so if I get better I could be a better judge of it.

MacBooks are awesome. That's what I am on right now. They run Windows 7 better than most Windows PC's out there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the demos for both the Darkness 2 and Syndicate, thinking about getting both just for the coop alone.
