No. My brother sent me one of those portable hard drives with his entire Itunes library when I got my Ipod. He had spent about a year putting it together from his own music collection and combined it with a couple of his friends Itunes libraries and I added about 350 albums of my own. That's just what I have on my Ipod. My entire library is 3662 albums, 144.1 days and 198GB.

It's not about advertising the thing, it's about making the thing a part of yourself.
When I wear a Meshuggah t-shirt, it's not just me advertising the band, it's also me saying "I fuckin love Meshuggah."
Tattoos are the same way, to me. If the Red Wings win the World Pennant Superbowel this year, and he gets their logo inked to his skin, it will be a cool story for him to tell later on down the line, not just an unpaid promotion.

(sorry, I'm just opposed to fads and trends being tattooed on someone... unless you're getting paid to advertise for a company, of course. And make no mistake- sports teams are just companies. They don't care about you!)
Im well aware on the surface they are just a sports team and they have absolute zero care about me, nor do they even know of my existence. lol and Im fine with that. But its the fact that I like them and I like my city, and the Red Wings represent Detroit more than anything else here (You could say the Old English D but, meh). To me, Getting a Red Wings tattoo is way different than getting Microsoft, or SONY tattooed on your body. So I dont think its a bad idea.

Yes. I may not say it, but I think they're stupid. Look at it this way, though. I don't have a tattoo, I have plans for a few- symbols for Evol and my kids. Because that's my life. They're a part of me...
I lived through the Michael Jordan dynasty in Chicago, and I LOVED the Bulls- hell, I still love them- but I don't feel they're a part of me. The logo for the Bulls doesn't mean anything to me- some random guy I don't know designed it- which brings me to why video game tattoos aren't my cup of tea- it's not something from me, it's copying someone else's art work. It's like when a girl hears some song and says "OMG, that's MY LIFE! They're describing ME!!!" I think "You and every other whorish bar skank..."
Tattoos are permanant (OK, I know they can be removed, but that's costly and painful, from what I hear) so I just feel like they should be something that truly reflects you, not making your body a walking billboard.
And seriously... people like Detroit???? WTF???

It's your body and your choice, and I am honestly only voicing my opinion to voice it, not with the intent of changing your mind should you choose to do it. I <3 u, no matter how many stupid tattoos you have! And if you do want one, you should get with Norris- he's a redwings fan, and he's awesome at designing tattoos- he's done them for a lot of people. He also doesn't agree with me on sports tattoos- he just doesn't have a team with a good logo- seriously- a big O? An orange helmet?!?

. Well, its either they like it, or have hopes for its comeback.
But like you said its my body and my choice. People feel different about certain things. The Red Wings for me isnt just the Red Wings. If that makes sense
