Random memories - I remember my great grand mother making coffee for great grandpa. It was so hot that he drank it from a saucer with a dash of cream (farm fresh). Now that I am in my 40's and actually drink coffee on a regular basis, I wonder what that coffee was like. I am looking back at over 30+ years ago when coffee wasn't the big fuss it is now. That reminds me of a memory about my grandfather from a few years before he passed away over ten years ago now. He was staying with us over a weekend or something and my younger brother offered to bring him a cup of coffee one morning and he got all grumpy cause my bro went and brewed a fresh pot and gave him a piping hot mug. He was like "What the hell is this?! I wanted a cup of the leftover coffee from last night."
