Chances are it's a bunch of AI bots and spider bots that connect to the site and the connection doesn't properly get closed...so it appears that there's hundreds...if not thousands of people on the site when there really isn't, probably from the server downgrade or whatnot. You would think that but some days I have it open all day...and it only goes to about 90% for that same 7 hours....I don't even use it until after about 2 pm since the people I chat with are busy until then. Today was one of the days it drained to about 30%...I really just think my battery is a piece of shit.

Well just a guess, albeit an educated guess, but I'd say financial reasons. I don't think he wants to pay for a site he's not interested in running, and the ad revenue isn't great. The traffic dried up long before the downgrade.
