I'm waiting for two in Lego Movie and Two in Halo.
mine unlocked today but still, it's an issue that has been needed to be addressed for months now and Microsoft hasn't even acknowledged it.
One of my Halos just unlocked a couple hours ago. It only took like three or four weeks.

OK so I ate these 2 chili cheese dogs today for lunch and I went over to a waitress and asked her if I had any food on my face and she laughed at me. I had chili cheese all over my face boo ya!

So...downloaded Ubuntu so I could have a dual boot on my laptop so I could have windows and linux...get to where it needs to burn to a cd...I burn it to the cd and get an error message, then my laptop freezes up...so without thinking I restart it with the cd in the drive still...bad idea...never made it out of the loading screen and had to get into the boot setup after powering on and off a couple times to open the drive...ugh such a pain in the ass

I had a problem with an older laptop similar to what you're talking about... if you google your laptop model number, there should be an auto-boot / company startup screen you can do, to run it in safe mode, or more likely (what I did), reinstall the computer back to factory settings. Not the worst thing in the world, since it will delete EVERYTHING, including potential bad files, so your laptop may end up running faster, and you'll be back to a clean slate, just like you bought it originally.

"Hard disk has S.M.A.R.T. errors" I didn't know what that meant so I googled it and what it comes down to is that the HD has a bunch of bad sectors. Recommended backing up all data and replacing the HD asap. Bummer.

Finally got the CD to burn a copy of linux now I can install it and run it alongside windows 7 or I can mess around on the demo, thinking about doing the latter first to get a little familiar with it.

I don't like national lampoons christmas vacation. This makes me weird in my family and now my parents' favorite joke is that they're giving me a copy or I should watch it or whatever.
Never. Gets. Old.

I'm with your family on this one. Christmas Vacation is my favorite Christmas movie.
"We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse."

I think Christmas Vacation pretty much accurately describes the sense of stress (and dread in my case) that surrounds my personal holiday experience.
"I don't know what to say, but it's Christmas and we're all in misery."
