Why don't you just do it then?
Quote by Mo the Surfer:
Why? So people can get upset with each other and start another flame war and get it closed again? Some of the things I saw on that thread...not mentioning any names have no place ANYWHERE. They should treat this site like a workplace, if you wouldn't say it to a co-worker or customer just keep your mouth shut and tell someone in charge if you feel offended, etc.
End Rant

If you want a gmg thread, then start your own website and make one. Every single time it gets closed all you do is complain about it. Just because you're miserable 24/7 doesn't mean everyone wants that thread opened. So by all means, make one, tell other people to make one, and keep complaining about it. I'll close them all.
This site needs to be without that thread for a while, maybe permanently. It's been discussed before but we've always let the new threads slide and then the same thing happens. Not this time.

Yeah, that's his "thing." He's our own personal Rhubarb Jones.
Regarding the gmg thread, if you need to vent about something in your life, this thread is now the official place to do it. We are in no way trying to take away anyone's support group or the people they vent their frustrations to. However, having a thread titled as such seemed to make some people forget the rules about speaking against people on the site (either directly or veiled) or questioning moderation. The easiest way to deal with that is just to leave it closed. It's had a good run, but this isn't my first rodeo with gmg threads and they ALL turn out the same way.
The Pirate Bay's servers are in Sweden. The police raided it, and that's why the site's down. They supposedly have backups, so we'll see what happens. But that's why I mentioned Sweden.
And I use Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, it's how I make like 90% of my income, and got them both free off TBP... although I did buy Final Cut years ago, they charge with every update. Same with Final Draft (screenwriting software).

Hahaha! I wish we had a shocked emote. Do we? Nerp.
Although if I was doing illegal things on the internet (I'm not and never do) and if I was profiting from it... I probably wouldn't post about it in a public forum using my actual name. Which I'm guessing was Daniel's point.
