Anybody know if its true that you can get through airport security without a photo id?
You don't need one if you're under 18 and it's a domestic flight. Adults are required to have one, though.

I've read a whole bunch of things including TSA blogs that claim as long as you go in early enough and talk to TSA first they just check a few other credentials and ask random questions and you're good to go

Only guy at the party?
They obviously think you're gay.
And her friend. Obviously has a penis.
Okay everyone, thanks for coming out! Tip your bartenders, and have a safe ride home!

I had to register my 13 year old son for high school today. If that weren't bad enough (I will have 2 in high school next year) they were asking what his plans were for after high school. After? He's in 8th grade! He still want s to play games all day!!!

Since the TSA website says:
"Adult passengers (18 and over) are required to show a valid U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID in order to be allowed to go through the checkpoint and onto their flight.
We understand passengers occasionally arrive at the airport without an ID, due to lost items or inadvertently leaving them at home. Not having an ID does not necessarily mean a passenger won't be allowed to fly. If passengers are willing to provide additional information, we have other means of substantiating someone's identity, like using publicly available databases.
Passengers who are cleared through this process may be subject to additional screening. Passengers whose identity cannot be verified by TSA may not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint or onto an airplane."
It's more reliable than coming here and asking us. Lol.

I drove back through the border (Mexico into the United States) with only my driver's license, you're suppose to have your passport. I realize that's not TSA, but it's a similar situation. It was my own car, so they could validate me through my license plate, registration, etc, as well as my license. I don't usually (well, ever) drive with my passport. When you pass a certain point on the highway, they don't exactly let you stop, and turn around- you have to drive right out of the USA. So like you pointed out, there's exceptions, it just takes longer.

I saw my house on the news tonight. A train killed some folks working on a film. Very drama. Much tragedy. Such random.

WTF. It's hard enough to actually make a decent movie these days. Sounds like gross negligence. Likely shooting in Georgia for tax incentives, and likely will pass the blame around. Despicable. The first thing that comes to mind, is Bruce Lee's son Brandon, on "The Crow" using a mistakenly loaded gun, that killed him. When you live in a bubble, you think in a bubble. Just like I believe corrupt CEOs should be locked up, like common criminals, whomever didn't check train schedules, should be blacklisted for life, and find penance in another profession. A similar case, to a stuntman who died a few years ago-- production called his widow, asking for his costume back, to avoid late fees. Integrity can't be taught.

Man I loved Brandon Lee, too. That was terrible.
But yeah, no one should ever do anything in Georgia. Ever.
